My main problems are these: Roy Williams and Kevin Jones. These guys are our offense, they make or break our entire offense. I love the way KJ plays, he's tough and physical and pounds the ball as hard as he can. But he's lost something, 35 yards rushing yesterday? Something needs to change. I'm growing to dislike Roy A LOT more these days, he's lazy, he doesn't run his routes effectivly and he gives up too easy. There were times yesterday where Roy just looked disinterested, doesn't he realize that he's the focal point of this team on offense? Why does Furrey have to show him up? Furrey? Roy needs to understand that if he truly wants to be great like Chad Johnson, Marvin Harrison, Randy Moss, Tory Holt and T.O. he has to WANT the ball. I don't think he wants it enough. And btw, Shaun Rogers is a MONSTER, he's who we should build this team around, not the guys on the other side of the ball.

Not bad? It's awful from our perspective, we give up our top 2 young defensemen and get none back? And we end up with only Marleau and Chuck Kobasew?

Not worth it if Kronwall has to go, as much as an improvement Marleau would be over Datsyuk, losing both Datsyuk AND Kronwall makes us lose any trade unless we're getting a young defensemen back.

Kozlov was never the highest paid foward on the Red Wings and Kozlov always put up numbers, which Datsyuk isn't doing. How long would you hang onto Datsyuk if he keeps putting up goose eggs when it counts?

I'm fairly certain the only player that Johnson takes icetime away from is Bootland. However, that's one too many kids.

Still doesn't excuse Rogers for being God Awful.

Pittsburgh will be hurting if this injury plagues Ward for a while, and with Santonio Holmes being in the doghouse and trying to dodge the bighouse the Steelers reciver core is grim.

Relax Barnes, he means he'd rather have Schneider than Leetch.

Verlander is lazy and he sucks?

Anahiem might have to win a lot of 1-0 games this year if Selanne can't contribute like he did last year. And Thornton needs to show up in the playoffs for SJ to go anywhere. But I agree with Calgary.

I'm refusing to get excited over this team this season. Even if they go 2-0 to start the season knocking off Seattle in game 1, I will continue to look at this team as 6-10 until game 7 is won.

This spells the end of Lilja's 18m/night which is good for both him and the team. I bet Cheli or Lebda become the guy who gets cycled in and out though.
