It's really painful to watch Ben shoot these freethrows over and over.
-
There was plenty of leadership.
-
Ben is playing fantastic.
-
I would've been SHOCKED if the Pistons won tonight, had they won, they would sweep the Heat. There was just too much against the Pistons tonight.
-
3 fouls on Dwayne Wade already!
-
I really don't see 3 rookies playing full time in Detroit next season :/

Bigger Playoff Disappointment: Wings or Pistons?

The Pistons really couldn't have played any worse in games 3,4 or 5. The Cavs were lucky the Pistons underestimated them. -

They would've been a dissapointment had they lost. -
Edmonton was faster than Calgary was (and still is).

Griffins lose, down 0-2 in the series
-
The Admirals are up 1-0 on the Griffs, the game is tied 2-1 in the late stages of the third. The Griffins have peppered the Admirals goalie and now the Admirals are getting a PP with like 8 mins left! Admirals got called for a penalty with 1 sec left on the Griffs PK, HUGE PP coming up!

Exciting game so far, 1.4 seconds left. Some HUGE boards on the last Pistons poession. Rasheed has made some huge buckets tonight also! Come on Detroit!

If by perfect you mean not perfect, then yes, I agree!

Bigger Playoff Disappointment: Wings or Pistons?

The Pistons, easily. It will be one of the biggest chokes in recent memory. The Wings weren't even supposed to win the conference let alone the entire league. The Pistons were expected to blitz through the regular season (which they did) blitz through the first 2 rounds, beat Miami and then beat the Spurs in the finals for revenge. If the Wings had been to the WCF the past 3 years, it would be the Wings. -
2 questions 1) Can someone link me to the radio stream page for the Griffins? 2) How are people watching these games? Which channel are they on and there isn't a live stream is there?

Well, this was Howards first real chance to play in a big game, I'm not that worried, this is only his first season in the AHL and I think he can't be fairly judged until next year. Like Funky said, the change from College schedule to the AHL schedule can be dramatic.

The idea of a Hudler - Filppula - Bootland line translating over to the NHL and making an impact as said line is unlikely. The main reason is that they won't get nearly the same minutes and even though I don't disagree that they're all ready to make a jump and have some type of impact, the difference between what they're doing in the AHL right now most likely won't even come close to what will happen in the NHL. Hopefully they all make it over next year, but I really doubt that they'll stay on the same line, kinda hard for a coach to trust 3 rookies out there at the same time.

It goes through Wade, Shaq isn't even the most dominating player on his team anymore.
-
And why would Detroit want draft picks for Lang?
-
Won't go anywhere, if Ottawa unloads Alfredsson they'll get better than that.
-
I like it, but I still really don't see Mark Bell getting traded.
-
I'm just hoping that whatever defensemen we get drasticlly reduces Lilja's minutes, because like it or not Lilja is in the Wings plans for at least next season.

No, because we won't be able to get a Heatley for Hossa type trade for Datsyuk. Unless the deal is insanely fair for us there's no reason just to get whatever. The only real goalie out there who would make sense to go in a trade is Luongo, I don't like the idea of trading Datsyuk in a deal for Giguere, the Ducks are good enough and they're in our conference do we really wanna give them Datsyuk? If Datsyuk won't sign a fair deal by the trade deadline, then yeah trade him for what you can get, Jokinen would've gotten a lot back before he signed his deal this season. Datsyuk's value is very high right now since he's in his prime, almost every GM in the league will "take a chance" on him regardless of his post season record, he has too much talent.
