It was a general statement, there's been a few strange posts here where people are fishing around the minor league sites, find someone who has a few goals and assists and have a good stature and all of a sudden its like they've located a diamond in the rough. Draper could get us a lot, but the Devils have zero use for him.

I really expected the same results, I guess it's because I take on the "big boys" during the arguments and there's stronger posters who take the pessimistic view over the optimistic view so people automaticlly think that I'm some homer who doesn't really know anything. It's cool though, I know I'm not completely clueless! I may be wrong on occasions, but I feel I contriubte more than most.

It doesn't matter, at the point in their careers, they all have equally no trade value.

Osgood is a good goalie, but with that said, he has no trade value, just like Thibault, Lalime, Sean Burke ect.. They can all do the job, but it's eaiser to just waive them.

I'd like the league to step in and force the Fords to sell the team so we can get some real business people in there who know what they're doing.

It's not so much trading the Red Wings player as it is who we're getting back. Some of the trades brought up are laughable at best.

I thought so too, I said earlier that anything over a 2nd for Witt was an overpayment, but RyanBarnes! was very convinced that there's a ton of teams going after him willing to pay a ton more. So I tweaked it... a lot.

Trade Legace, Hudler and a 2nd to Washington for Witt and a 3rd, then this allows Washington to trade Kolzig to a team like Edmonton or Philly near the trade deadline if they're still undecided in net.
