We should dress 13 forwards, and play maltby or someone as the extra D when needed. now in real life....Samuellson, but I think they are going to sit hudler.

I dont know why, but Calgary scares me in the playoffs more than San Jose, and even more than Anaheim.

Lines I like w/ The D&Z line..... Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Holmstrom Cleary-Lang-Calder Bertuzzi-Filppula-Hudler/Calder Maltby-Draper-Franzen I wouldn't mind switching Cleary off the Lang line. Earlier in the year I loved it when Hudler was with Draper and Maltby because he gave them that extra scoring touch on that line, and they got him the puck alot. without D&Z line..... Filppula-Zetterberg-Holmstrom Hudler-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi Franzen-Lang-Calder Malts-Drapes-Cleary Throughout the year I have always though( this even goes back to pre-season) that Dats has had great chemistry with Hudler, and Z with Flip, but not so much the other way around. Plus when they were first together Franz-Lang-Calder were awesome and showed obvious chemistry. Even a line like Maltby-Lang-Bertuzzi I could see clicking very well. A Cleary-Zetterberg-Calder line would definatly have alot of energy, and would have the ability to play a good dump and chase.

Off topic, but I think Bucci is the only guy at ESPN who actually likes the Red Wings. I know he is always praising Zetterberg, and he has even talked abotu going to Wings games a couple times.

Ya I was only 11 at the time, and when Shanny collided with Vernon I think I yelled out holy s***! or something to that extent, and my dad didn't even care....at the time.

Along with Lids and Dats, Hudler has been one of our most consistent players sence Hank has been out. He has really picked it up lately defense wise too IMO.

hahahah the Canes are so stupid for trading him away. Very bad decision IMO. It will be awesome to see him play though.

Ya but your missing the fact that he has NEVER played for a North American team. The wings have tried to bring him over before, but it was Grigorenkos choice and he WANTED to stay in Russia to try and compete for a spot for the national team.

Than tell me right now what is the point for trading him for nothing? Is it because he is taking to much cap room up right now? Is he because he doesn't fit in well with the team in the locker room? What? How are you to say it will take him 3 years to develop? Datsyuk was what 25 when he first started playig with us, so Igor will actually even have the extra year over Datsyuk, and Hank was what 24 when he started? GIVE THE KID A SHOT! Also as I recall Hank didn't have very many points for his Swedish team, and actually got more points in the NHL than he did in Sweden.

That's actually true, you always try to get out of the way of the puck, or block it. Lang did neither. But like SWF said it really isn't that big of a deal.

Ya it's funny because when he was skating in for his shootout attempt, I said to my friends " hes gonna go for the chest".Than BAM he shoots right at his chest. Sammy has a terrible shot, and he has to have one of the worst shooting % in the league.
