I'd actually be more excited about a solid defensive signing than a flashy forward for once. Yea, Hossa would be TOTALLY AWESOME, I guess, but look at what having this defensive depth did for our team. Honestly, I don't even expect Holland to go after a Rolston type player this off-season, and start looking in the direction of a defenseman. I mean look at our roster, we don't really have any spots to put any extra players, and we all know some one like Sammy or Maltby, isn't just going to be traded away. We only have two holes #4 D-man, and possibly Drake's spot. That said seondary scoring still seems like a weakness to me, but it's just moot at this point.

Does anyone know what kind of champagne the Wings drink in the locker room or how much it is? I am throwing a party tomorrow and it would be kind of cool to have the same kind, because we will be watching the game again and everything. Lebda, and Dandenault always reminded me of myself they are both speedy, little(lebda) and can't really finish, so I have always had a soft spot for him. But yea, I thought he played best in the finals out of all of the series. Earlier in the year he looked very expendable with the way Meech was playing.

You're not crazy YoungGuns I have been noticing this the whole playoffs. I was shocked tonight I actually think I saw a Penguin kicked out of the circle once, although I could be mistaken. Babcock should seriously consider just playing a wing for the faceoff, than when he gets kicked out of the circle the center can take it.

We have won every other series in this playoffs on the road. I am just trying to stay positive, because I was pretty devastated tonight.

I will say this though, the reffing HAS been terrible. I am saying this as a hockey fan, not a Red Wings fan. For both teams calls have been inconsistent, a hook one time is not another. I would also like to see holding of the stick being called more.

Worst game we have played as a team all playoffs, great time for that now guys. Worst game Stuart has played as a wing.
