So I guess the question is can the Wings do anything to make the refs more fair in the finals if we get there or are they to just "hope" they dont f*** up as much as last years finals.

If we face them again I think its going to be much harder as they wont get dominated like games 1 and 2 last year.

The NHL will admit their guilt when the ref in question is mysteriously absent from all future playoff games this year.

Its panic because it was a HOME loss and its going to be hard to go in there and take both.

I agree, Lidstrom may not be the best overall defenseman all time (Orr), but I do feel he is the best defenseman at defense. The problem with it is making a great defensive move does not show up in the boxscore but scoring a goal does so unless you actually watch him play instead of just looking at his stats people will not always notice it. Anyways people are seeing Nick make a few mistakes and are overreacting since they are so used to him never making a mistake, but when you are defending a 1st team all nhl player your going to beat a few times and you just have to accept it.

The GAA may be around the same but the SV% is no where near the same. GAA is more of a team stats while SV% is the more important one to look it, and hes not as good as he used to be, though still better than Nabokov.

Not like we had a hard time with the Predators during the season either(6-2), SJ should not be looking at their success vs Nashville and to think they will be just walking over us. Experts really don't know anything as for the last two seasons they thought we would have a hard time making the playoffs.

Key to winning is not giving Calgary any 5 on 3s.... without them this series would be over.
