Poor choice of words maybe, but what I meant was pretty straightforward. I don't know who will be starting when the playoffs begin but they need both goalies to be ready, and after the Olympic break when most of the Wings players (but alas, not most of the Wings important players) have gotten a chance to rest up will be a good time to give Ozzie some more starts, see what happens and make sure everyone's good to go for the playoffs.

The grace and beauty with which Sidney Crosby leaves the ice surface after contact is a sight to behold. Like the great eagle taking flight in the crisp morning air, he majestically soars through his domain and, satisfied with what he has seen, returns gently back to Earth. Greg Louganis, Pat McCormick, Klaus Dibiasi, all pale in comparison to the way Sidney Crosby effortlessly performs his craft, the Kid from Cole Harbor that's taken the world by storm. Truly we are living in his era now, and from that we can never go back.

That came off as more abrasive than I intended, I'm not trying to be an *******. The way I see it Howard is still only on pace for 55 starts if everything stays as is (doubtful), well within the limits of what you'd except a starting goaltender to handle. Even though this is his first season in the NHL he played several seasons in the AHL handling those kind of starts. Of course he's had a few bad nights but he's bounced back well, so to me the only thing I'm looking out for at this point is a Legace-style meltdown. I can't really guess what Mike is thinking but if I were him I'd set up a new gameplan at the latest for post-Olympic break and infuse more Ozzie into the rotation to presumably get him ready for the playoffs.

I don't know how it is you're so adamant that he was "tired" in the first place. He had two days off from his last start which obviously didn't end well, and he started a million games before that and before that, with only the occasional breather of Oz coming in. I don't see any indication that he's tired or was ever tired; simply that he won some games and lost some games.

It's going to suck no matter what, I guarantee we're going to be forced to watch replays from Game 7 for no less than half the game.

This was the luckiest game they've played this season, by far. But you know what, after all the buttf***ing they've received from the league on blown calls and crazy bounces and everything else, this is just payback.

This is one of lousiest full games the Wings have played in a while. They should be losing by a million goals right now. Get your heads on straight, if only for ten minutes, and get two points!

That's what happens when it's virtually a PK for five minutes and shot after shot is being fired at you goal.

Those last two PKs I think they just couldn't get a clear for a while and were gassed by the end and couldn't do anything but stand around.

Wings are barely hanging on now. About time they caught a break I guess, but it won't matter if they can't kill the penalty.

It would just be the craziest thing if they could manage to score the next goal and not lose the game.
