That was about the slowest developing scoring play ever. -

Pavel is a man possessed today. He is stealing the puck and making things happen every shift. -

The lament of Darren Helm; if only his maker could've taken a little bit of that juice out of his feet and put it into his hands. -

Geez, those lines look terrible. Any one of those but the first one would be Detroit's 4th line in a non-buttf***ed season. -
Which Goalie Should Start for Russia in the Olympics?
Heroes of Hockeytown replied to GMRwings1983's topic in General
He started for Russia in Torino was primarily my thinking. Bryz and Khabibulin were also there but Bryz only started one game and Nik started none. EDIT: As it turns out the reason for that was he was injured, so that may be part of the circumstances that put Nabby in net, but he's hurt again this year so it could be deja vu for Russia. -
The image quality is poor so it might be hard to see, here's a higher resolution pic that should clear things up: We try to get out to the Joe a few times a year.
-
Yeah, that's him. The girls were pretty, it's for a good cause, and seeing as I've got nothing nice to say about the music, I'll take my mother's advice and cease commenting on that matter entirely.

I agree that Bryz seems to be the best choice, but I have a suspicion (based on nothing in particular) that Nabby would be the guy to get the first crack at it. Perhaps some of our friends from across the pond have more insight. -
Fifty bucks to get this photo someone took of me (con amigo) at the Joe? ******* don't know bout my MS Paint croppin' skillz.

Zetterberg out at least 2 weeks
Heroes of Hockeytown replied to p_diddy_datsyuk_13's topic in General
Was expecting closer to a month, seeing as that was Cleary's damage. So it's not as bad as it could be, but still as ill-timed as ever with three huge games coming up. -

There are a million inaccurate passes in any hockey game. Hank has to look out for Hank, he's no one to blame but himself for what happened. Having said that, it happens to the best of them; in this unfortunate instance it resulted in injury.

The great ones always do.

12/17 GDT: Lightning 0 at Red Wings 3

The Bolts aren't very good, so it is right and just that the Wings pitched a shutout. Jimmy did a great job, and the Wings found a way to score without all their scorers. When they got their only relevant power play in the second (nice refereeing by the way, assholes), when Leino-Abdelkader-Eaves and Meech-Stuart came over the boards I could barely fathom it. No offense to the aforementioned, but that's a power play unit?! I am sure by the end of the season the Wings will have lost the most man games to injury, and it won't even be close. Keep on keeping on, fellas. -

Buddy scored some free tickets to the game, so I'll be at this one. I promise to send nothing but positive mojo to the team! -
Yes, right here. Right now the answer is one. Certainly impressive, but his total SHTOI is considerably less than all other PKing regulars (as it would be considering he was acquired a month into the season).
-
Pretty much this. Watch the Bert video again sometime, he really lets Moore have it with a tremendous swing. Mac just wants a piggy back ride.

They also played together in 2008, when they collectively had the best seasons of their careers and won the Cup. But that was then, this is now. They've played together some this season and haven't been very effective, which may be a symptom of them both just playing below what they're capable of (offensively, anyways) than the pairing of them in particular.

You know someone's talking nonsense when even mindfly is calling him clueless.
