I think it's fair to expect your goalie to play well during the season. With that said, Ozzie was very good in the games against Chicago, Washington, and LA, so I'm not ready to claim we've got 2009 Ozzie on our hands yet. Some more consistency in net would go a long way to helping the Wings, though. -
I'm with you, he hasn't been very good in the early going.

The Hawkeyes have made a habit of barely winning every week, I'm calling a classic Sparty NOOOOO moment next weekend to give Iowa the inside track on the Big Ten title.

It would have been good to score, but Anderson made several great saves and kept them in it, and at the other end Ozzie gave up a terrible goal and a pretty weak one on McLeod's first shot, too. The line change brainfart was bad, but in my opinion it just came down to Anderson outplaying Osgood. -

Without regards to the shootout, which is silly and doesn't count anyways, Ozzie didn't have a strong game and he was soundly outplayed by Anderson. He was inconsistent in this one (had several great saves, then gives up a terrible goal to Duschene), and so far in the season, after playing lights out against LA. -

Check out that celebration, you can tell that was a load off his back. Great execution between Dan, Hank, and Bert. -
Roundup: School record 727 yards for M against Delaware, el oh el. And some incredibly dramatic finishes in Gainsville and South Bend. Barkley and Clausen put on a show in the 4th quarter, great stuff.
