Nick turnover. Also terrible play on that odd man rush by Homer. -

And nothing of value was lost. -
I'm sorry Wings, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to cancel the Alternative-Victory-Condition initiative. It was a bold move, but it seems like there really is no other way to win a hockey game besides scoring goals. Sometimes, the old ways are best.

It would be less annoying if I thought the team was just genuinely bad, that this is where their talent level and ability was. But they are way more talented than this; certainly way more talented than Columbus, Calgary, Minnesota.

I hate to agree with you, but I think this is mostly true, at least as far as Pavel as we usually know him is concerned. He's being checked so easily, losing the puck or being knocked off of it, turning it over... Presently, this man is not Houdini.

Wow, seriously?
-
Geez Commodore, way to kill that possession.
-
Well that was the dumbest ten seconds of hockey imaginable.
-
What's happening?! This horn is blowing and lights are flashing and everyone's embracing and oh my god make it stop
-
Thought that would be five minutes to be honest.
-
Jiri, meet Bench. Bench, Jiri.
-
And heeeere come the bingo balls: Miller-Zetterberg-Homer.
-
Me and my big mouth. Lo siento, Jimmy.
-
Funny enough, I don't think they really would. He has been excellent during this losing streak but they lost all the games anyways since they never scored.
-
Blatant hook there, Commodore.
-
No finishing allowed.

There are no universes that exist where the Flames are a better team than the Wings. I checked all the flux capacitors. See? None. If the Wings can't win tonight they will create an unstable chrono loop and erase all of existence. No pressure, fellas.
-
Probably the biggest reason for his decline is he developed back problems.
-
Kindl out; Commodore in.
-
If you observe the ball moving at you at near-relativistic speeds it will actually become blue.
-
Form a Shanahan-Fedorov-Yzerman line, laugh maniacally.

11/1 GDT: Wild 2 at Red Wings 1 (OT)

I certainly agree with the latter statement, but not the former. The score could have been anything -- 1-1, 3-3 -- the game hung in the balance and the referee made the mistake that hurt the Wings. For all of everything else they could have done to that point, they were still in the game, and it was still his missed call that ended it. Of course I understand that refs blow plays just like players do -- just like Franzen did to bring about the PK -- but I'm not letting Franzen off the hook for that stupid play, so I don't see why I should forgive the refs either.
