I can forgive them if they're looking bad, and they definitely do look bad. They've got the skill to get back in it even if their legs aren't there.
-
Ghastly pass.
-
Poor use of sarcasm, I suppose. You can brush him off if you want, but he's good enough to do it on his own. Only the very elite players in the NHL average over PPG in the postseason, and most not by very much. Say what you mean to say if you think he chokes, but basing it off PPG is weak.
-
God help him if he did, with Scotty behind the bench.
-
He plays like a bored scrub during the season, cranks it up in the playoffs, ala Fedorov.
-
Certainly to his credit, he invariably brings it in the playoffs.
-
I had forgotten about that. What a terrible display.
-
A million years ago when Bob was on the team I thought it would be cool to reunite the Pittsburgh duo here in Detroit. Alas, that ship has sailed.
-
Times change, brah. Take a look at the NHL stats today. Since when did this pass as valid criticism? So are Steve Yzerman and Sergei Fedorov, as long as we're on that topic. Maybe if he was a no talent scrub of a winger waiting on Thornton to feed him. Anyways, my point was they have a lot of not-terrible players outside of big Joe.
-
Got another shorty from Richards just now. That guy has a killer instinct when the play is going D to D on the power play.
-
The 5 minutes thing? If that's what he's arguing, that's silly. That constitutes a whopping 8% of a hockey game.
-
The playoffs are a completely different game than regular season hockey, they just happen to be governed by the same rules. We've learned that the season doesn't mean a whole helluva lot, and that any of these teams could be dangerous, or any one of them could choke and fold.

Lemieux scored like that a million times, but that one was pretty famous. HNIC intro anyone?

2/20 GDT: Anaheim Ducks at Red Wings

Other things probably came into play but from the time Franzen scored to the Ryan goal, I think Mike was keeping the big line and pairings out there as little as necessary to prepare for tonight's game. -
Hank, Pavel, and Draper rotate the A's.

I am so very annoyed how this game has been a six minute PK since the 2nd Anaheim goal. -

Conklin has had a very solid game, and the defense has done a great job clearing rebounds. -

The enormity of Chris's stupidity is starting to affect the zebras around him? I think this follows the rules as outlined in the Nobel-prize winning "Greater Pronger Retardation Theory" put forth by Stephen Hawkings.
