Well, that's about the best defense I've seen a last-place team. They were in front of everything. -
A fair and objective way to describe the 2nd leading scorer in the league and former Art Ross and Hart winner. The Wings did as good a job as anyone could ask, but he still was 2-4-6 in those six games.

I'm fine with him. I watch hockey for the game, I don't even pay attention to commercials, Crosby oriented or otherwise; and I sure as hell don't listen to the clowns on Versus/NBC when they call games, but that's because they've got no desire the actually call the game as opposed to aimless babbling about any old thing. Call me crazy, but I tend to judge players based on their play on the ice.

You'll need to adjust those for tonight's games. Playing the stat game, Nick has one fewer point than Wideman and five more than Chara. His +/- is five lower than Wideman and one higher than Chara. They're all in the same neighborhood. And, with all due respect to Rafalski, neither of those two have been paired with Rafalski for most of the year. -

Don't think Oz was sharp on the second or third goals, and it was a friggin' breakaway relay all night long. The Wings were not on the ball from start to finish. Oh well. I will keep on living my life. -
