This is an authentic statement. He seems even more active on the power play this season than last. I had said a couple weeks ago it was more his style to stay back while Kronwall did all the roaming but now it seems all that's been turned on it's head again. Who knows what the next decade will bring as he continues to re-invent himself. -

I don't mind a battle for the puck, but he clearly jumped into Nik. It was definitely a charge if it wasn't interference, which I think it was also anyways. -

Well, unlike the other night in Minnesota, I thought the defense was very good tonight. The tying goal was just one of those things. Those blind hail mary wristers from the point will go in sometimes. And the less said about the winning goal, the better. The refs dropped the ball and Harding stood on his head, but the Wings have got to find a way to beat him. Or, well, I guess not anymore. Thank god they're done with Minny for a good long while. -

Well if it wasn't called in some past event it was a bad no-call. Miller may have been trying to avoid Harding but he ended up jumping right into him. If that's not a penalty I don't know what is. -

It looked like he jumped into him to me. Maybe he used his goalie status to run interference on Miller, whatever. Them's the rules, Miller knows them. It was a dumb play. Also JIMMY! -

Maybe it was legit by the rulebook, but the whole thing seemed very hum-drum and run of the mill to me, not the sort of thing that usually gets called. I guess if that's the way they're going to do it than fine; I hadn't been paying close enough attention to any post-whistle stuff earlier to see if there's a similar incident where they didn't toss someone. In any event I agree about the non-calls. The Gus trip was blatant and awful but no make up call was forthcoming. -

Not a very good period, especially when contrasted with the first. For the whole of it the goal scoring hasn't been any better than any other time during the losing streak. I would just as well avoid trying to return the 1-0 favor, but it isn't up to me. -
