Someday, the Wings will kill a Sharks penalty. But it is not this day.

That time, it was accidental.

Pavel is pure electricity with the puck. What an amazing human being.

Probably Mike is not taking this game quite as seriously as the rest of us. Still, I would've preferred to see Conklin in net tonight.

I've got to agree with this. That first goal was pretty standard fare, unfortunately, for Oz of late. Play the hot hand in the big game, is my feeling. Most of the time it seems Babcock has gone that way, but for whatever reason not tonight.

If someone who had comically little knowledge of hockey were reading these forums, they'd think this was Game 7 of the Finals and that games only last 20 minutes. Relax. We've seen this script before. The Sharks are playing out of their heads from the top of the game, they're at home and they're excited. They did totally dominate the Wings in the first, but the great thing about hockey is now the Wings get to skate into the locker room and get recharged and get back out there.

The puck, shoot it.

Who could ever forget McGeough's kick-in goal in '06...

He came in from the boards near the opposite blue line if memory serves, and Pavel was in the corner below the goal line, so it was a pretty decent jog.
