I'm sure the NHL is hoping for a tight and exciting game from top to bottom (and, what's more, probably a Hawks win ), but I hope the Wings completely crush them. 5-0, 6-0, 7-0, bring it on. Dominance should be established. -
Cheli has played well in limited time. The good thing about Cheli is that he always makes the simple play. He's obviously not fleet of foot anymore but he'll get the puck out and he won't get caught pinching at a bad time.

The original Knob Hockey clips featuring Bryzgalov and our own Ty Conklin from the 2006 playoffs were amazing, but this vile entity "Heavy.com" had them pulled from Youtube and then didn't host them on their site.

Although not spectacularly meaningful in and of itself, the Red Wings improbable 3-2OT victory of the Blackhawks, scoring two goals in the final minute of regulation to force overtime, and then Datsyuk burying the winner with one second remaining in the extra session is a good watch for laughs.

Obviously Conklin and Pavel and Franzen had great games but I thought Rafalski, who's been strictly mediocre for most of the year, had an uncharacteristically strong game and is, as ever, an excellent PP quarterback. If he can get the motor running, then we'll be in business on the blue line. -
