    Gah, I really wish they'd gotten that third goal. So close! You know the Hawks are gonna lay it on in the third and that extra marker would have been huge. But, the Wings are playing solid hockey tonight so here's to that if nothing else.

    They're playing with speed through the neutral zone (aided by solid, simple breakouts) and they're crashing the net. Good things happen when you do that.

    Tell me about it. I am loving the edge on this game. Bodies are flying all over. The Hawks got the jump on the Wings at the beginning but the Wings are in control now.

    Yeah, the switcheroo is in effect. Hawks dominate much of the play and outshoot their opponent, but the goalie stands tall and the opposition is opportunistic on their power play. I think we're all used to that script...
