The Wings have got to win this game. It would be a goddamn travesty if they don't walk away with two points.
-
Attaboy Pavel!
-
There you go, mentioning the L-word again.
-
Ahh, Dano, get it up.
-
Finally.
-
That PP was downright lousy.
-
The Wings have had lots of success working the puck down low and getting guys open in the middle of the ice (especially Hank), but they seem to get into stretches where they just expect every Lidstrom shot to bounce off three guys and in. The unit pretty much spent the whole PP just trying to get Nick open for the shot.
-
Fate is cruel when it gives you Draper as the trailer on the odd man rush.
-
No good chances that PP.
-
Nice rush by Rex.
-
Franz has got a big head since he scored that crazy goal on the Habs.
-
He had three shifts before then (but one was for 6 seconds). Behold.
-
It was good to see them play harder and control the play for a lot of it, and equally maddening for them to have absolutely no goddamn luck.
-
Please pick a different condition.
-
That's more like it. Haven't seen control like that in a while.
-
Some nice hitting and forechecking from Maltby and Draper.
-
Weaaaaak
-
******* christ, are you kidding me.
-
Well that's an interesting stat, out-scored 52-45 at even strength.
-
Ho hum.
-
I don't care if Lilja fights anybody, as long as he stays at home and isn't made to look a fool, like he did Saturday.
-
That was ugly. The Wings defensive woes are only matched by the offenses' rotten luck. But they got pushed around tonight and it sure wasn't pretty. I've got nothing good to say about this one. What I hope is they don't feel the way Ken Daniels does and try and write if off because they hit a couple of posts... They played bad and have got to do something to put together their best effort moving forward.
-
He made a nice play just now. Hudler is fine. If he scores, he's doing his job.
-
Ding.
-
Well, that's done.
