I'd say it's been the best line so far this season. Miggy gets the Tigers on the board. 1-0! -
Outside of FranzenFest '10, he had 1G 4A in the remaining four games against the Sharks. In fact, he recorded a point in every single playoff game that year. He was not effective last year, and surprise, he was hurt. I agree that not all of Franzen's qualities are endearing, that he is sometimes lazy or disinterested, but eva is persecuting him relentlessly for one poor 30 game stretch in his career; it's absurd. The man has proven his worth time and time again.

Sweet mother of mercy, you need to get a grip on reality. Franzen scored at or above PPG in three consecutive playoff years (2008-2010), and then didn't last year when he was hurt. I guess for the whole one and a half games before he was injured he "played like s***," and even then he still managed a goal and assist.

I don't know what else is ailing the Canucks (if anything) but I would call this a bit of a schedule win. Vancouver definitely didn't have any mojo tonight. The Wings will no doubt face down something similar later in the year, of course, so no sympathy here. Back to back SOs and, most importantly, 3-0, is a great place to be. -
