Cleary's tying SHG in Game 2, which set up Pavel's game-winner, deserves mention as well. I feel both of Cleary's goal in these playoffs have been absolutely tremendous for this team. Despite my misgivings, it goes without saying that no one has notched two bigger goals than Bob in these playoffs. Franzen and Schneider topped those games off, but they don't get there without Langeroo. -
The fact that no one's noticed him means he's doing his job. No mistakes or gaffes, just solid positional defense with a healthy dose of hits and blocked shots.

Ah, the power of the transitive property. Need not apply to hockey, I'm afraid. Especially when your base assumption, Sharks > Ducks, seems a bit off to me... -
GS&T, that's a solid post. Personally, I'm proud of this team no matter what. Like he said, we've had a great season up to this point, making it to the final four. It'll suck if they don't win, but don't mistake that for disappointment. This season was the first time in a long time I came in with NO expectations for the team at all, at the start or end of the season. They've come through bigger and better than all the years that I thought they'd win the Cup right out of the gate.

No bigger or more physical than Calgary or San Jose. The Wings have proven they can handle the rough stuff. Difference is A.) the Wings have a lot more in store than their goalie, which Vancouver did not and B.) Luongo was a playoff noob. You can't find a more seasoned playoff vet in the NHL than Hasek in net.

Every crowd's got a bad apple, but I've been extremely pleased with the visiting fans we've encountered so far. Let's hold to that trend and enjoy what looks to be a tremendous WCF.

I'm so proud of this team. No matter what happens from here on out, I'm so glad to have been a fan. What a great win and a great series; as solid team defense and shutdown hockey as I've ever seen. Dom was the difference. I have nothing but respect for the Sharks and their fans (samadelphia notwithstanding) and wish you guys the best of luck in years to come. Classy bunch. Now then, on to the Ducks...
