Leave the Wings a positive message!

You are without equal, Flip. Judgment has just been passed. -
Ah yes, this is a deadly technique derived from the famous book of Vokoun. A risky gambit!

Of course I did. Italicized low-caps is my jokey voice! You just fell for the trap, my friend. -

And as you can see, BBCode does not work in titles... -
As much as I'd love to, the earth upon which this dark crop grows is quite infertile. The comings of the Great Reaper are weeks or even months removed from one another. And even when called upon, it's to wipe clean mere patches (which, when viewed from afar, are perfectly repulsive). What I'm trying to tell you is that I grow a lame "beard." Pass.

I've decided that Iginla is playing. That's all there is to it. For that matter, so are Zetterberg and Bertuzzi. So there. Now enough dicking around already. GAME TIME PLZ.
-
Word. I just want to get it on already. For the first time in a long time, I have no expectations or predictions and just want to wait and see what happens.

That's the reason I love Don. I don't always agree with him, hell, I find his xenophobia disgusting, but the guy is just a hoot. The best thing about him is, he means everything he says. You can just hear the conviction in his words. Brett, on the other hand, talks only to hear the sound of his voice. He just wanted to be 'edgy' when he made that Datsyuk comment, instead of saying what he believed. Bigtime nega-points from this corner for that kind of behavior.

I assume Clement will being doing his best impression of Ron this week to keep those guys under control.
-
Should be interesting. I wonder how many segments they have him lined up for?
-
I watched every Sabres game after the first round last season, and a couple of their games against Philly. That kid is good. Sabres run and gun style leaves him open to some good scoring chances, and he's all about the clutch save. After watching him last year, he became my favorite non-Wing goalie.
-
Just watch the game highlights here. The very first sequence has the collision right after the goal is scored.
-
Wow, two of them have the Wings in the Finals? That's pretty wild. Definitely not what I was expecting from that crew.
-
Yes. Looks like the Ducks are boned, though. Second seed curse + Maggie = a fate worse than death.
-
Depends on who you ask. After three years of you-know-what, there are a lot more people leaning towards the Flames this season. Not TSN, apparently, but plenty of other outlets that wouldn't have considered it in '04. Underdog, favorite, no matter. Best team wins.
-
Good to hear, but it doesn't mean a thing. Maggie's mystical wheel is the only proper device to dole out fates.
-
Ha. Beeker's hawked loogies meaner than Rex.

I just flipped through my Bible to make sure this is correct. And Flip, ever known for his accuracy, does not disappoint. I suggest you read it allowed for all to hear, and hold a boombox aloft blaring Dies Irae, or another appropriate end of days tune. -

All three years she's gotten the SCF winner wrong.

I like this article. We've known all along Hasek came aboard to solidify our goaltending for the playoffs, but to see him talk about it is reassuring. He's had his highs and lows this season, but it's been plain to see these last few weeks he's been tooling up for the playoffs. This guy is gonna be a beast; a healthy and motivated Hasek is the biggest difference between this and last year's team. And if the Wings do make a deep run, I have this feeling that Franzen is gonna be a big part of it. I like this guy as a playoff performer.
-
Oh yes.
-
So I'm filling out a playoff bracket...

Sorry, Reem, but Buffalo-NYI is one of the biggest mis-matches in the history of forever. Fish don't stand a chance. :skull:
