For Saturday: "Todd Bertuzzi (whiplash) and Nicklas Lidstrom (lower back) are expected to play. Goaltender Dominik Hasek will not, but practiced Friday and will be available for Game 1." No word on Hank.

Jeepers, five years? Pavel is living right. I guess we shouldn't have expected anything less after the years he locked up the other future cornerstones up with (Hank, Nik), but hey, I expected something less. Like harold said, Kenny's been on a roll of late so... Fingers crossed. -
Niedermayer won fastest skater in '04. Pavel was in there, but he stumbled right at the get-go so he didn't get as good a time as he should.

Lang is terrible at the shootout. I know sometimes coaches like the play the hot hand, and Bob had an outstanding game, but he just can't figure it out. He pretty much gets stuffed going five-hole (or in this case, low glove side) every time. If we could do it again: Pavel, Rex, Stein, Flipper (Eye-Em-Oh, anyhow).
