Whether or not it was true, the level of misogyny in some of these responses is pretty appalling. "I dislike the idea of ice girls so it's no problem if they're harassed or spit upon." Gimme a break. They're just doing their job. -

Two games and a period left to score two if he wants 100 goals in his first two seasons. Lots of guys have come close (Robitaille, Bure, Lemieux are just a couple I've checked out) but so far the only two I can find are Selanne and obviously Gretzky.

Pffft, Brett Hull's slander. His shot isn't something of legend, but with the sticks these guys use these days everyone can deliver a bomb downtown. It's just a matter of having the instincts on when to shoot and how to get open. I think he actually did nail one this year, maybe it was against Calgary, but the play was juuuust offside. Had Kipper (I think) beat (almost) fair and square.

Oh boy, did you know that they announce offsides over the PA in Atlanta? That's kind of depressing. It's not that hard to figure out. Dude in before puck, offside. Easy peasy.

In the NFL, it's explicitly stated in the rules that a coin flip is the final tie breaker. How else they would do it in the NHL? A coin flips sounds as good an option as any.

Ten seemed like a rather arbitrary number, was all. I didn't notice that it fell into the no-man's land before Holland's first year as GM and after Lou's first Cup. Yeah, how'd that work out for him? -

I agree in principle, but let's not be misleading here. Expand the parameters by one season and we see Lou's still got the edge on Kenny, three Cups to two. -
