Then why make the comparison at all? Steve's team as a whole had trouble in his early years, but he performed admirably. This has not been true for Pavel. They are in two fundamentally different situations.

Good call on the PIMs, aflac. With regards to lines: It will likely be Calder-Lang-Hudler, Maltby-Draper-Sammy. That's how it shook out by the end of yesterday's game.

He had a goal last outing (win). Two assists before then (OT loss). He's been dominating recently, it's no big deal if another player or line steps up to have a big game once in a while.

When Sullivan and Hartnell (and I guess Erat now) get back, and if Forsberg gets back, they'll be a force again. It speaks to the depth of both orginizations that they've remained competitive despite injury woes.
