Egads, Oz, get it in your glove. If it's coming from the top of the circles, either grab it or redirect it into the corners.
-
Tootoo started throwin' haymakers before Darryl had his gloves off. Square up and throw down, young fella'! [/Mick]

Maltby!

Finally, Southern hospitality!
-
Premature declarations from someone's team who's still down in the season series.
-
Well put, Wings had a tough time getting going with the BS calls against and had their good chances negated by non-calls.
-
Detroit goalies are dumb.
-
Soft little hook = penalty Cross ice charge = AOK WELCOME TO THE NEW NHL
-
Softie, bulls*** goal for a softie, bulls*** call.

I hear a foghorn... BUUUUUULL-SHIIIIIIIIIT
-
Calder was loose, he never takes a shift off.
-
Nick with an early save... BOB!
-
It's not an assumption, it's a condition.
-
And if Pavel tanks it this post season we have a damn good reason to go after Briere for X million dollars versus Datsyuk.
-
Given that the Sabres can hang onto only one of Drury/Briere (in all likelihood, anyhow), either one would be an attractive option if Pavel drops the ball and prices himself out of Detroit this spring/summer.

The winner takes all... It's the thrill of one more kill. The last one to fall... Will never sacrifice their will. Don't ever look back on the Preds closing in, the only attack are the Wings on the wind... The big game begins... And it's sweet, sweet, sweet victory! And it's ours for the taking, it's ours for the fight! And it's sweet, sweet, sweet victory! And the world is ours to follow... *Bob drops a wicked guitar solo* Sweet, sweet, sweet victory...!

Yeah, but the pecking order has been established. If two players are out Langfeld is in first. That's fair to the Griffs--they keep their best players (or at least I assume Ellis/Hussey/Booter are some of them, as hockeydb doesn't have stats up and AHL.com is borked), unless three regulars are out of the line up.
-
Langfeld was not selected to be apart of the Griffs playoff roster, he's with the Wings for the rest of the year. I don't have a clue as to precisely why the Wings picked this most useless of all players--perhaps for the Griffins benefit--but that's how it is.

This concept of 'wuv' confuses and infuriates us! Seriously, Rex is a good guy. If he does get the boot once the playoffs start (as opposed to, I dunno, KIRK MALTBY), at least we can take solace in the fact that he's gonna be around full time from then on out.

Justice Friends, UH-SEMBUUUUUUUUUL!
-
The origin of Rex Hudler, the Red Wing, probably lies in the Major League Baseball player of that very name...
-
Saskin sent home on paid leave of absence.

I assume by "past few" you mean "two." I didn't notice any outstanding giveaways. He's a good defensive forward, to boot. Plus player this year and last, played third pair PK duty last year effectively with Hank. Considering the quality of play of guys like Lidstrom, Hasek, and Datsyuk today, I don't think this game was really a good measuring stick for anyone. I agree with some of your criticisms, of course, but the above stuff is way off base.

I'm pretty sure any line that Kyle Calder is on will be super great because he, himself, is super great.
