So, what to do with this bum? When he was actually playing well the retard rodeo was still in town bagging on him, but now he's just been just as horrible as Willy lately, if not worse. His trade value really is nil if you ask me. Playing like ass, old, UFA, etc. A good benching is the only line of recourse I can envision. And for what it's worth, deep within my heart I still believe he can turn it up in the playoffs. That doesn't forgive this absolutely disgraceful hockey he's been playing, but it's something.

Filppula gets a major complement, Wings get insulted.

It's nothing next to Yahoo! having the gall to give Calder #19. This trespass will be forgotten; the other will live on in infamy. -
Bertuzzi ethics... help settle an argument

I'm not here to bulls*** over semantics. Burke contacted Florida's GM; he held a real interest. You have no argument. Show's over. -

Claim: "That is laughable. And figures why no other teams were real interested in him." Refutation: Linka This is not rocket science. -

Brian Burke, a GM who was seriously interested in Todd Bertuzzi, directly contradicting your original statement. Nuff said, indeed. -

"I'm thinking we would be better off looking at Todd Bertuzzi" "I talk to Florida assistant GM Randy Sexton about Todd Bertuzzi, and he tells me "the guy we like is Perry." I offer him profanity" "We looked at Bertuzzi, but the price was too high." That's Brian Burke. You lose. -
I doubt Mike will mess with the top line unless they suddenly become unproductive (or if he's just goofing with lines mid-game to get things going). I bet Sammy and Bert line up alongside Lang when they get healthy, with Calder and 'Stein demoted to Flips line. Mix and match the rest; Rex will sit and watch.

Sure thing, dude... Back on topic: I wonder if Janssen will even get a suspension at all. Three games tops is my bet. We all know how that gutless spineless coward Colin Campbell just looooves to dole out the punishment.

Egads, Lou, what's with the AV? That's devoid of even a semblance of class.
-
Oz won't play a minute unless Dom gets hurt/yanked. I think the discussion going on is that if one of those does happen, we're still in pretty good hands.
-
Weeeeerd, homie.
-
That's awful.
-
Yeah, he likes to take it to the front of the net from behind the goal line or from the corners. No one else on the team seems to willing to take such a direct route.

"Valterri Filpulla uses his patented Evil Eye to blind his opponent."
-
Uhm, hello? What are you, some kinda *******?

I think Pavel took a slash, but he never left the bench. Mike probably figured things were getting chippy out there, no reason to put your star in the line of fire. Lebda probably just had a stinger. No idea of Homer's condition. Pretty standard fare for a Wings-Hawks game tonight. So happy to see Lang bust one open, and hey Willy's alright too. Calder had another strong outing; an assist, he made a couple nice drives to the net and had that nice diving play to keep the puck in on a PP. Now we just have to hope the Kings can pull of an upset here...

BOB! BOB! BOB! BOB! Gratz to Nick on #200 as well.
-
My fantasy squad is dropping like flies.
-
You know Bob's got his confidence back when he's cranking 'em out of the park.
-
Goon squad time for Chicago.
-
With regards to Williams: had to happen.
-
Pavel is made of WIN and AWESOME.
-
Pavel is looking dangerous tonight, two good chances for him on that PP.
-
And you know what? Pavel won't even get an assist on that play. All four Red Wings on the ice deserve a point for that one. What a play!
