Stuart. Might as well load up on this power play and send these sore losers packing.
-
Well, I don't think we have to worry about the two points anymore... Just keep your wits about you, gang. And like Mick says, get your sticks up. Take a penalty if you have to to protect yourselves. Additionally... Lang is having an awful game. My goodness, he is floating out there hardcore. I love him to death, really, but he is being lazy and sucking right now.
-
But I would feel so much better if it were four! MEMO TO PAVEL: shoot the puck plz
-
Uncharacteristic giveaway for 'Stein, but it still looks like things are in control. Hank back on the hunt for you-know-what.
-
Lebda doesn't look to be a top four guy in my crystal ball. Great speed, adequate defensive awareness, not really much going on in the other end. If Datsyuk leaves you can bet the Wings will take a run at some UFAs to fill the gap, rather than trade the guy they gave a five year deal to.
-
For once in recent memory, the Wings turn the tables in the first period and swap a lackadaisical start for a dominating one. And it's looking like one of those games where Hank-Pavel-Homer are dangerous every time they step onto the ice.
-
Damn son, Wings kicking ass here in the early going. Be careful now, that dreaded three goal lead is upon us. Don't wanna end up like New York. Keep pressing!
-
Running a little late on the GDT here... Stupid six start... It's Bob's fault anyways. He just had to get ice cream. He was dead set on beating the record, and it's not worth arguing with him when he gets like that so I let him do it. Now we're here at the laundromat getting the stains out of his uniform. Good one, slowpoke. Fortunately Mr. I has purchased a magic carpet for his use when he gets caught out of town on such misadventures. We'll see you guys at the first intermission..

If a scoring forward AND a gritty forward come on board, who sits? Willy is gone, forget him. Who else? One of the rookies, I suppose. Hudler would probably find himself as the odd man out.
-
Looks pretty win for Calgary.
-
Damn, Visknevski is solid, too.
-
No kidding. You think Schneider is bad, you should ol' Sheldon get turned inside out every night, making a sad little last ditch lunge as he drops to ice, so completely and totally beaten. Not only that, he makes horrible decisions in his defensive zone, that have nothing to do with playing one-on-one, that would makes Mathieu look like a Hart candidate. Passes up the middle (ala Markov ) or double teaming the wrong guy and leaving his man wide open. Practically every time I've watched him play on HNIC he makes some cringe-worthy effort and the Habs get scored on. I really can't say enough about how worthless Souray would be in the winged wheel.

Ha, good catch, can't believe I missed that. First year in the league...
-
And who do the Blues have that's within lightyears of Steve? Also, keep in mind, that the Wings are still winning the season series 4-3. Compound this with the fact that the Blues won two of the games in shootouts... and you can see where this is going.
-
No sir. Should've added a smiley. <--- BANG
-
If you're gonna lose you might as well learn a lesson, eh? Well, hopefully they internalize that deep wisdom.
-
He's the feel-bad story of the year...
-
Well, honestly, I don't think luck had anything to do with it. Did they have a couple posts? Yes. But that was in the one or two flurries they had all night. They were pretty awful, for whatever reason. Even when they were getting messed around by the New York clubs through forty in their buildings, they looked better. If they had won, it would've been through their superior talent, but nothing resembling hard work. Anywho, it was just an off-night. Win five, lost three, win five... and now we're back on the other side of the column...
-
Homer got shoved into Legace. He jumped right over him, so Manny must've got wacked in the head by the Blues Dman.
-
I can say with supreme confidence now that, through no real fault of his own, Joey MacDonald will never win a game in the National Hockey League. Anyways, that was the Absolut Off-Night. Don't think we have to be worried about any streaks being snapped, or Nashville. They had ten points on us a week ago... still just three. Moooooving along...
-
Actually, since Manny was in net for Guerin's goal... it would be Manny shutout... At least I think...?
-
Oh geez, I dunno. Maybe it is the back to back? Maybe it's just playing the Blues... like Mike said, it's the dog days of the schedule right now. All I know is this--one shot and it's a new ballgame.
-
Man... Wings just don't have it tonight. Grade A Off-Game. Still. Good chance to win it. Might take OT, though.

He's an offensive lineman, if I remember correctly, and they pronounce his name "Lil-JUH."
