Anything to drop those next 10 games. Rogers is a true team player.
-
Eh, I've seen him miss a few lay-ups into the endzone this year. He overthrew one last night. Arrington's TD against MSU was another case of a badly overthrown ball, and the Wolverines were very lucky to catch a break there. Those kind of things nag at me, but I'm not gonna argue with 60% completion rate. He's been deadly accurate to Manningham this year.

Boo! If we win two or three more games, we might lose the #2 pick again like last year. And we'll have to work hard to get some tough losses out of SF, Arizona, and Miami coming up. Sheesh, I'm already on the edge of my seat. -
Well, 247 rushing yards from a QB is definately the 'WTF Stat of the Day,' but I'm still not convinced. Georgia got stomped by Tennessee and lost to Vandy today. I want to see how they do Louisville before I think they're for real. And they were talking about this during the game, how the #1 OSU vs. #2 U-M basically bypasses the BCS with regards to who gets to the championship game, since it will likely knock one undefeated team out of the running, meaning FOUR teams would have to be undefeated going into that game, which is unlikely with USC if you ask me having to play Oregon, Cal, and ND.
-
The pollsters ought to vault Michigan over USC and let this thing be settled in Columbus. The Wolverines have the most powerful, ferocious, and dominant defense in the nation and they showed it tonight, save for one ugly play. Offense had an off-night (largely in part to the loss of Manningham, though Arrington stepped it up), but the defense was just brutally efficient. Seven sacks, two QBs knocked out, oh man what a game they had.
-
Predictably, OSU laying out the roflpwn on Sparty.
-
Even out of position, he's still on pace for 0-82-82.

Now Yahoo! says it's a torn ACL. He had arthoscopic knee surgery Tuesday. I don't suppose that might alter the time table at all...?
-
It's tough to replace two TDs a week... Perhaps I'm just a bit nervous here... there are still a couple of big games to play before OSU. Here's to a speedy recovery, man.
-
f***.
-
They ought to be able to earn the #2 slot on their own merit if Michigan runs the table (in other words--beats Penn State and Iowa) coming into Ohio.
-
I haven't read anything about it, so I'm assuming Hart and Manningham are AOK?

I laughed. It was just such a Lions moment. Guy gets through the O-line COMPLETELY UNBLOCKED and nails Kitna and the ball to the turf. It was so awesome how there was a Viking right there to finish it off. You couldn't script a meltdown better than the Lions do it. At least Ernie Sims is showing that he's ******* awesome. Best first round pick in four years. -

I've seen Favre throw enough unforced picks into double coverage, or off-target into a safties' belly to know that he's lost a step. He's better than he'll look on the Packers, but he's not the QB he once was. -
This is like Roy Williams talking smack about the Bears. s***, this is like Roy Williams trying to fight a bear. I mean, I guess you can wake it up if you want, but don't be surprised when the whole worlds calling you a dumbass afterwards.

The line on the Michigan-Michigan State game ranges from 15.5 to 17.5. That's pretty brutal for Sparty. Stanton probable, but still injured, and no Ringer should make it a no contest true blue win. That's what I'm worried about. If it's one thing you learn watching Michigan ball... beware the Spartans' upset capability. I'll say U-M by a late FG in Saturday's showdown--24 to 21.

God Roy Williams' first down dance is obnoxious. -
I don't even follow baseball, but today I heard a mighty hard choking from the south...
-
Goddamn right. It's worthy of an emphatic "DAMN SON."

And so the Little Brown Jug returns to its rightful resting grounds. Great effort by Minnesota to make it interesting in the end, a little sloppy play by Michigan, but in the end all is well. Undefeated Michigan rolls.
-
State seems to have gotten to their mid-season implosion early this year. Ah well.
