I never know what to make of these guys. They're getting their asses kicked for the second consecutive game against a team that finished way lower than them and is missing their best player. These assholes need to finish the period.

I can confirm that they definitely cover hockey way more than soccer on all their big shows. Although maybe now that NBC has won the rights to broadcast hockey ESPN will dial down their coverage.

Jovo had one or two decent seasons when the Canucks were rolling with Bert and Naslund, but that's it. He's an idiot that takes stupid penalties and makes dumb plays and is way overpaid. Helm has abused him in this series and I love it.

Interesting news, I guess, but this NBC sports network business doesn't sound promising. ESPN is deeply entrenched in the "sports news" arena. I'm not enthusiastic about the prospects of NBC's SportsCenter, PTI, or ATH knockoffs. Especially when hockey is their only product, whereas ESPN can boast baseball, basketball, and football. Although personally I don't care about any of that crap. If hockey is on TV I'll watch it. I watched the Stanley Cup Finals on the goddamn Outdoor Life Network, I'll go anywhere for this dumb sport.

The Wings got some serious puck luck in the first few minutes, but except for a stretch in the second controlled play, or anyways weren't running around in their own zone dodging bullets. Can't argue with 3-0.
