It was indeed his first big hit in a long while. And even though on review it looks like he mostly misses with his arm, why does he have it flailing out there in the first place? Keep that thing tucked in big fella. Anyways, no further discipline is clearly the right call. -
In comparison to the clear as day interference on Zetterberg earlier in the period that prevented a 2-on-1 break that wasn't called, there's reason for Wings fans to be bitter. If I were making a video to show an example of what constitutes an interference call in the the NHL, that's the play I'd use.

He managed to work up some enthusiasm for Philly's comeback, but you'd never hear him make a call with of bravado for another team.

The Pens just started dragging ass in the third like teams often will do at the end of a back to back. No doubt the Pens were sitting back and the Wings' urgency went up a notch, but overall I think that had the biggest impact on the comeback.
