If he wants to center a top two line maybe he should take a little initiative and knee-cap Hank or Pav, instead of having his own knees explode all the time. But even if he remains his own unambitious self, there's a good chance one (or, heaven forbid, both) top lines stop scoring for a couple games and Mike puts the twins together, defaulting our lovable Finnish layabout to the two hole.

Jimmy has played well (under 3GA) in six of his eight starts since the All-Star Break, and also won six of them. -

'Tearing it up' is one way of putting it. He scored 12 points in 17 games between those two dates; certainly very respectable, about where he ought to be using his prior season as reference. He has played better since joining Datsyuk, with 8 points in 6 games. This isn't exactly a shocking revelation, I don't think he's ever skated a regular shift with Datsyuk, and in combination with Cleary this is far and away the best line he's ever been on. -
Blues must be pretty pleased with the trade after tonight's result.

Wings have been really loosey-goosey on defense tonight, but mostly hasn't resulted in goals against. Like right there, another odd man rush, Panthers have had a ton. -
