Don't short change the man, tied for seventh (f*** that games in hand s***). His goal scoring is way down but he's on pace to smash his previous mark for assists. In fact he's third in the league in assists right now, if you can believe it. As long as the puck keeps going into the net, I'm okay with it. -

I agree. Whenever most players that aren't out-and-out super stars sign these big deals it seems like the first, best reaction is "oh my god overpayment!" but it's in line with what similar guys get paid. And even some guys that aren't that similar, like Paul Martin. If you're a top pairing type Dman, you get paid.

Certainly easier said than done. In the three games they've played so far this season Daniel has 3G 1A, Henrik 1G 4A, and Kesler 0G 6A. -
Lemieux's message may be true, but he went about it in a pretty brain dead way. It's obvious he doesn't care about the state of NHL hockey (as he colleagues have already said regarding his absence from meetings) until it affects his team. It's not "we need to do this to improve the game," it's "my team got punked so down with this sort of thing."

Although for most of my youth it was the home jersey. And long before that, when the gentle brontosaurus roamed, it was the away jersey again! Anyways, neat looking layout.

Salei was a culprit on both Bruins goals yesterday, and Kindl also did a fine impression of a pylon on the first one as well. Getting Stuart back will have the helpful ripple effect of cutting back Salei's ice time and putting Kindl back in GR.
