Salei and Kindl had a tough go of it, but on the other hand Ericsson was excellent. Also two thumbs up for Nik delivering his first big hit in a while. And now C-bus has done us a favor and beaten the Stars.

I'll be in attendance today. It's tough to beat a good team like the Bruins back to back, so I'm a little concerned that I had to watch their good game on TV and I'm going to get the bad one today.

It looks kind of weird but it doesn't seem like too bad of a line at all. Eaves is a decent scorer with good shot, he and Flip both have wheels, Homer does his thing and goes to the net. Pretty standard setup, actually. Everything becomes even more complicated when Modano returns, but at that point it'll be impossible to avoid stacking centers on the same line.

Two out of the three games since his return, Pavel and Hudler have been a very effective combination.

We are talking about the 2-on-1, right? Rafalski maybe could've gotten away with attacking Avery right at the Wings' blue line but he was put in a tough situation. Ericsson should have been thinking defensively; Avery wouldn't have gotten behind him if he had retreated.

He is a purveyor of unreality. Watching him sort of hang back on the backcheck, then come out of nowhere to steal the puck, like he knew what was happening all along, like it was all planned out ahead of time... just blows my mind.

Defense was not good, especially bottom pairing guys, but Jimmy out of nowhere was awesome. He and Pavs pretty much won this game, along with Hank at the end solo-killing a 5-on-3. Christ, so many penalties at the end. What the f*** guys? Oh well, win's a win.

Goal was totally on Ericsson. He needs to be benched for that stupid play, what was he thinking? But Kindl is already in timeout...

Well, Datsyuk has fixed everything. Also, Ericsson jumped into the play and it didn't lead to a goal against, in fact the opposite!
