He more than doubled his PIM total in one game, and if that happens 20 games into the season than that's telling me he hasn't been taking very many penalties. It probably helps that the "one hand on the stick the other taking a penalty" syndrome seems to have been remedied.

The next five games, with these guys and then Atlanta, Calgary, and C-bus x2, are going to give the Wings an opportunity to rack up a lot of points before they have to play anybody good. -

Pavel had a nice game. Consider the two somewhat throwaway points he got on the PPs as belated rewards for his great rush that Lidstrom failed to bury in the first, and his pressure that generated the turnover that got Hank in position to score later.
