Good looking PK, but it's time to give Bryzgalov some work fellas. -
All of the overtime games this season have only lasted a few minutes anyways, and going back to last season exactly one game reached multiple OTs -- Wings-Ducks Game 2. Seems that the current system is resolving the large majority of extra-time games in rapid enough fashion, no need to try and expedite the process any further (at the price of the integrity of the game no less).

A familiar refrain this time of year. Whatever mojo he was able to grasp in 2007 and 2008 he needs to find again. Perhaps unsurprisingly, those two years he was united with Zetterberg, which he wasn't in unsuccessful postseasons like 2006 (though abbreviated), and 2009.

I prefer to look at him as being good enough to provide tons of value from whatever role he was slotted on two very good Red Wings teams, good enough to take all those Ruskies' money before coming back to a real hockey league, and laughing all the way to the bank with it while the Czech Olympic squad tanked to a non-medal finish, that's my way. -

Would be surprised if Miller doesn't win it, not just for his season but (rightfully or wrongfully) for his performance at the Olympics. -

You know, it's worth a shot. I really feel like they should have been able to produce with the lines they have if they played with more intensity, but they are where they are.

Putting them together might get Pavel going, but right now Hank is driving the bus and they're already getting good contributions from his line. They need scoring from another line, so unless they catch lightning in a bottle from somewhere else like last year with Franzen-Flip-Hossa, I don't know that it would help too much.

I don't know where Kronwall's head is at, but that turnover that led to Wolski's goal is just baffling. How did he not see Abdelkader standing right there? -

He didn't look good on the Lepisto or Prucha goals, especially the latter, he and Rafalski really got worked by that give and go. Not good enough is right. -

Seemed like they only cranked up the intensity after they fell behind by two goals, and that's not good enough. Zetterberg's line has been the only one that's done anything in this series. Datsyuk and even the third liners need to step up and chip in. And obviously, Howard has to be much better. The team wasn't great today but any chance they had was snuffed out with his soft goals. It's a brand new game Tuesday, and the Wings have to win it now. -
