Awesome! Thank you!

Any streams tonight?

I'd prefer not to see any teams moved, but rather more teams added. Putting one in Quebec and one in Winnipeg would equalize the conferences, and thats good enough for me. I'm also not opposed to a team in Hamilton, but they'd have to add another to continue to keep things even.... I SAY, GENTLEMEN, SAULT. ST. MARIE!!!!

Indeed! If we look at Dan Cleary's stats in his first season with Detroit in comparsion to the last 3, we see something that would depict his first year here being fairly similar to those years previous in his career. See Below: Cleary's Stats, past few years... EDM 01-02 : 65GP 10G 19A 29P EDM 02-03 : 54GP 4G 13A 17P PHX 03-04 : 68GP 6G 11A 17P ----- 04-05 : LOCKOUT DET 05-06 : 77GP 3G 12A 15P DET 06-07 : 71GP 20G 20A 40P DET 07-08 : 63GP 20G 22A 44P DET 08-09 : 74GP 14G 26A 40P If Eaves is to turn his game around, it will take longer than 6 games into the season. Will his story be AS great of a success as Cleary's? I don't know. But I never thought Dan Cleary would come here and score 20 goals, or be a top six forward. I liked him when he made the team because I saw his "I give 150% every shift" attitude. It wasn't about points then, but his production came as he improved. The same will happen with Eaves. Hopefully.

I think "The Paralyzer" has played well so far. He's not who he was a few years ago, but he's better than he's been in the past few. His defensive game has picked up, and once he gets more comfortable I think his offense will, too.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH

YEAH BAD, LAZY GUY GOT ANOTHER! And one more point for Lids!
-
Agreed.
-
Hate to say it, but I'd rather see Kindl than Delmore...
-
Tatar or McCollum. Kindl will be a great, solid offensive defensemen... But I'm not yet convinced he'll be a super star, like Lidstrom, Borque, or Leetch.
-
In no particular order: -Bill Houlder -Scott Stevens -Wendel Clark -Mattias Norstrom -Brendan Witt

Kyle Quincey Shawn Mattias Marian Hossa

Not McLellans fault, though I agree with you. Marleau was a terrible leader. His s*** was bad even right after Nolan and Friesen left. He may be a decent player, but I'ev always considered him to be a terrible leader. Blake seems like he'll do fine in replacement, and after he retires, maybe Thornton will get a shot.

Damn straight. Shanahan was my favorite player for years as a kid, even when he played in St. Louis. He was the guy I tried to model my play after, and regardless of what team he plays for, I always have been and always will be a Shanny fan. I wish him the best of luck with a new team or in retirement.

This exactly. Filppula, Leino, Ericsson, Hudler, Helm, Kopecky, Quincey, Meech, Lebda... Need I go on? Fischer, Abdelkader, Howard... All these guys busted nuts. Sure, some are better than others, but they put their time in and look what it did. F*** Ryno. Sorry to be blunt.

Cleary's awesome. Always has been, always will be in my mind.
-
Totally agree.

He claimed he'd take a deal with the Chicago Wolves if the NHL plan didn't pan out, and when last I heard he eliminated Europe as an option. Another player did this... Eric Weinrich. When he couldn't cut it in the NHL, he played in Vancouver's and Philly's system for 2 or 3 years as a player / assistant coach. I like the idea, but I doubt Cheli would go for it.
-
He's Lebda Senior. However, I was going to write exactly what you wrote, word for word, until I noticed you already wrote it... Which obviously then made my comment redundent.

There aren't enough top 10 spaces to fit all the players that belong in the top 10.
