My point is that your argument about how we shouldn't expect results from Lang because he isn't skilled is clearly wrong. Why bring Cheli into it? Is Cheli here to produce points? Is Whitney even on our team anymore? What is Lang's role on this team, if not to produce points? Is that not why we traded for the LEAGUE LEADER in points? It certainly wasn't for his outstanding defensive skills.

err...Lang was the league leader in points in the NHL (or 2nd most i think) when we acquired him....

i'm not saying he's a bad player or anything.. i just wish it would have been a player that the Red Wings signed (aka datsyuk/kronwall/zetterberg), not grand rapids that's all.

i don't think he is worth 6M as a free agent, but sadly, that is what he will probably get. 2 time all-star, appearances on Canada's world cup and olympic teams (i think), good for 40 points a year.... i'd say he's worth $5M max. but.....he'll probably get much more.

a very disappointing loss for sure, but a great season and effort what happened to chauncey billups? he was almost invisible tonight oh well, they showed everyone that last year wasn't a fluke, they will be back next year
