Why do I continually think we'll lose against these clowns? Thay can't even beat us mising half our players with the refs entirely in their pocket tonight?

I was thinking the same thing though with what the NBA's starting to turn into you're gonna have to start bringing up some of the old Stone Cold Steve Austin trends too.

Pred fans booing the refs for calling too many men on the ice, classy. Not that I can complain after all we did boo the refs for stopping the game after Jiri collapsed as a Pred fan mentioned earlier. I heard this happened shortly after Tootoo beat down Laraque.

I'm not saying Bootland can't beat Tootoo, just that I wouldn't bet any money on him even if you gave the betting odds in Tootoo's favor. Of course if Booter does lay the smack down on Tootoo later on please feel free to rub this in my face.

Then spend most of the time readin and catching up with the posts and wasn't even able to comment on the "kind of a fight" In a sense my prediction was almost right. I'd expect them to go again and make it fair later on in the game, though still I don't think Booter's got what it takes sadly. Say what you will about Norton but he wasn't that bad of a fighter just had AWFUL balance, I'd see him beating down Tootoo before Booter ever did.

I was actually going to make a post about that and how I can't even give him a faggy nickname or do anymore harm to him that isn't already there screaming in my face. The preds make him out to be a bad ass but the diction they saturate him in makes him seem more like a children's show mascot. Do you think he really gets fired up when he hears that train whistle sound once he hits the ice? I know if I were him I'd die a little inside each and everytime.

Tootoo is a true predator, he might be willing to drop the gloves if neccesary but he'd get pounded by a real enforcer so he takes his shots at unphysical scorers. Though I have to say he's doing his job to brilliant effect since their dirty goal came off a retaliation shot and they almost took the lead when Chelli abandoned his defenseive post to check him.

Well alright just lay off Osgood, not time ot bring out the torches.... yet.

Rather than play the blame game on who's fault it was for the last goal. Can be focus on the fact that is was a BS powerplay on a BS call and a pretty darn good shot too?

Much like Malkin winning the Calder, Sid's gonna get the Hart this year whether he deserves it or not, at least that's how I feel. Vinny'd be in my top 5 though along with Brodeur, Luongo and Lidstrom.

We'll get to see them fully loaded in the conference finals this year.... I can dream can't I?

I think this is a good idea and should have been implemented years ago, it changes the game positively and in a minor enough way not to hurt any tradition at all.

Considering Nashville's actually starting to get some players back and we're in about the same amount of injury trouble as our last game. As well as the fact that the home team has one each game so far this series, I see no reason for that trend to change, Wings lose 3-4 in OT =/ Though on the plus side I predicted the Preds would beat us last game too, hope I'm wrong again. A few other predictions to tide you all over. + We here Tim Mcgraw ALOT. + Paul Kariya becomes the first NHL player to successfully perform a triple axel during a game. + Lang gets a point though he will still be lazy and/or suck. + Tootoo and Booter get into a fight though no punches are actually thrown.

Are you responding to a post that's almost eleven hours old and I don't know how many pages back? That is extremely odd, but I wouldn't worry about our goaltending. It's just one game and as I've stated before Hasek never plays two games in a row badly and in the playoffs that's exactly the type of goalie a championship team needs.

Since half-way through his rookie year Zetterberg has been my favorite player along with Shanahan. Aside from not being peticularly physical (though he's not letting himself be pushed around half as much this year) he's a flawless player without weakness. Lacks some of Datsyuk's offensive spark and isn't quite the indomidable stalwart defender Lidstrom is, but when hitting his stride to full effect he's the best player in the league who encompasses both dimensions together. So now that Shanny's gone (and my favorite non-wing player) Zetterberg is far and away my favorite Red Wing, Lidstrom second, Datsyuk and/or Chelios in a tie for third, depends on my mood.

And yes Hasek is playing pretty badly tonight, as well as our whole team. Tthough if there's one thing I do know of Hasek is that he's harder on himself then any of the posters here. He also has more shut outs following bad games than just about anyone so, fret not. He'll take this bad game as a chance to shut the door on Nashville.
