Holy crap that was a weak penalty on Getzlaf.

Absolutely epic penalty kill, good to see the Wings playing with urgency, but the holy s*** could these refs suck more, At least we're getting a PP now.

Well its been a good year, the refs are single handedly handing this game to the Ducks.

Good news even if he's used solely for defense zone face-offs on the PK. I don't see Maltby sitting though, and I'd be sad to see Darth Kader go. For being young and inexperienced he's yet to cost us a PP and knows a little something about big game heroics (April 7, 2007.)

As awkward as it may be you shake your opponents hand after the game no matter what. What Chelios did, while understandable was wrong and embarrassing. There's a time and a place to make a statement, but you disrespect the game itself if you forgo one of its greatest traditions.

In my opinion unless you knock the f*ck out of someone you forfeit even being nominated as a winner during a fight in which you keep your visor on. This was definitely the case in this scenario, Dats didn't back down to that cowards pathetic display and took matters into his own hand which to me owes him a major kudos. Also, does anyone else agree Corey Perry is like a WWE villain on skates?

Attention Quacks, that is what an intentional elbow to the head looks like, not the Holmstrom brush against the already injured Wiz. Prior to the replay my biggest complaint was Neidermayer is a ***** for wearing his visor into a fight against an opposing teams skill forward, but the replay especially of the elbow takes it to another level. Unfortunately I would bet my life no suspensions are handed out, not that we need any of that garbage anyways. Wings just need to show up to game 7 and avoid falling behind early where the Ducks can slow the game down.

Holmstrom off the Datsyuk and Zetterberg line? I'd prefer every pile of crap Ducks player off of our players away from the god damn puck, they're dry humping our players leaving no passing outlet our any scoring chance off of Hiller's rebounds with their clutching and grabbing BS yet get away with it night and day for some unholy reason.

His greatest asset was he skating speed which he's lost with age, he's nothing more than a shell of what he used to be and relies on his overrated reputation to be a serviceable defense men in this league. If Kronwall was written on the back of his jersey he'd have spent half the night in the box for interference and been booed out of the Ponda.

He did fine, Kronwall disappointing me the most tonight, and his penalty wasn't nearly as bad as what the Ducks defense does half the time.

Congrads on using the entire series to match one game worth of missed calls for the Ducks. If that's your argument I agree 100%

He is 95% reputation, any other player pulling off half the crap he does would spend half the game in the penalty box for interference. He's above average at best, pity we can't seem to get one game officiated pre-lockout era style while every other like every other series seems to be. Still no excuse for the retched game the Wings played and their terrible PP, we could have had all the PPs we deserved and still lost.

Terribler game all around, an embarrassing considering last nights excitement. I blame the Ponda crew for leaving their ice as s***ty as possible to equalize the lop-sided balance of skill. Smart move by their part as it is the only way they stand a chance, but the entire series has reeked to high heaven of clutching and grabbing (99.9% o the Quacks part) and yes I agree with anyone who says this game sucked, this has easily been the least exciting of all 2nd round games with tonight being the cherry on the sh*t sundae.

Hard to score when you're a one man team and every one you can possibly pass the puck to is being interfered with to no avail penalty wise. Granted Pronger and Neidermayer are world class Defensemen and the best in the world so whenever they take out a player away from the puck illegally which they've done 10+ time each, no penalties are called because its their veteran presence not them cheating in any way shape or form.

As much as I'd love to see the Wings go scoreless with 20+ shots on goal in the third, I'd rather watch paint dry. I'm out, look forward to game seven at least, Wings seem really committed to end a series at home.

Wings will regroup and win game 7, but this is an absolute travesty. Every loose puck going to the Ducks and we've wasted as many chances as we've had. I was doubting the Wings odds to come back from 1 let alone 2, hope I'm wrong but this game looks like an absolute lost cause.

I swear to god Niedermayer's reputation as a "world class" defensemen allows him to do anything without a call, he's been responsible for at least 10 non-called penalties this series if not more mugging guys away from the puck.
