Actually a rather interesting tid bit that I didn't think about until you brought it up. I have a strange feeling no, as I could see him playing for a different team next year, but if I had to put money on it. I'd say Friday was his last NHL barring a several injuries.

Generally the consensus is either the league hates the Wings, or personally what I believe; the league just gives the edge to the team trailing in the game/series to prolong things for additional revenue. Aside from a few people saying such a thing about the Penguins (which to be fair the NHL does unfairly overexpose commercially,) no one here thinks the league is purposely trying to put one specific team in the finals. Even in '07 when a phantom penalty lead to the Ducks game-tieing goal who beat my Wings in OT, I viewed it as a slam against the Wings rather than the league trying to put the Ducks in the finals for some reason. Of course even then it was the Wings failed PK and inability to score in OT which truly cost them the game.

There's no way Carlyle would change goalies this late into the seres, not too mention it isn't Hiller's fault the Ducks allow 40 shots on goal a night and can't seem to carry play for more than half a period and then nothing in the third. I'd be concerned with his rebound control though if I where a Ducks fan, luckily for Anaheim they've been allowed so far to preemptively mug guys away from the puck so we don't get as many scoring chances as we should.

Scary turn of events for Chara, that's not how you wanna go down. Could be a ligament issue seeing as how he fell like a tree when he put weight on his leg.
-
While every fan feels this way, Duck fans are quite literally the last team in the entire playoffs to make this complaint. Absolutely ridiculous to know someone feels that way even in the heat of the moment.
-
Falling apparently means his working his ass off.
-
The refs stopped calling interference penalties after Kronwall's. So no, not even close.
-
I have to give congratulations to the Ducks though, today they set a record for most interference non-calls ever in a hockey game! Granted the refs deserve some credit here to for this magnanimous effort. Round of applause guys, great work.
-
My god this interference.
-
About damn time. That was one of the more brutal non-calls this series on the Hudler interference BS.
-
Ducks now able to od anything on defense.
-
Outstanding PK so far at least.
-
Oh dear god, what the hell I leave for a few seconds and we're on another PK?
-
The only problem I have with the refs is they might as well not even be there, if they're just gonna play it even stevens. If the WIngs wanted a two goal lead right now they'd score again or would have killed that PP.
-
The refs are essentially doing nothing but playing it even stevens. What Kronwall did was no worse then what the Ducks D have been doing, just so happened Wings had +1 PPs at the moment.
-
Wings concerning me somewhat, starting to look like every previous game in reverse with us being the ones who weaken as the game goes on.
-
Wings need to turn it back on, but what a theft by Ozzie.
-
How are PP opportunities tied when Wings have had the puck for at least 80% of this game?
-
Not sure what the Ducks are thinking with pointless shots like that, they don't shoot in about 8 minutes of game play, then rather trying to catch a rusty goalie with a quality scoring chance, they toss an unscreened torso blast from 40 feet away.
-
The Ducks have clearly resorted to sorcery and that is the only thing keeping Datsyuk from scoring in this series.
-
Time to twist the knife with this PP.
-
Thank god, Hudler is technically a hobbit height wise, no way he takes that above the cross bar.
-
Rex!
-
'Bout freaking time, Whooo Mule!
-
We utterly dominated the Ducks that period, in every way possible really. Sad we're still tied at 0.
