Anyone with a rudimentary understanding of statistics would understand that the higher the odds of Hiller being the Conn Smythe the lower his teammates chances should realistically be as they'll have to outperform Hiller. Even if the Ducks where in the Cup finals right now they shouldn't own the top three picks. To the columnist's credit this comedically inaccurate article was shat together prior to game 4 in our series.

Well we won the cup last year without him. Also please no more pretending to be fighters from our Wings, its sadly not something our team can do reliably and yes it is possible to play tough without fighting. Not backing down, crashing the net, and delivering checks are all infinitely more valuable then fighting, which ultimately serves as crowd pleaser or as an occasional momentum builder if you're trailing in a game.

Well body size isn't an issue, Hiller's about Giggy's size and an inch taller. Giggy's pads however are ridiculous and because of this he'd block the sun out of the sky if he managed to stay air-born long enough. This alone makes me want to prefer Hiller in net even though he blows Giggy out of the water statistic wise in the regular season, and I believe is still leading all playoff goalies in save%. There is one thing I really want to know however, and that's how many of Giggy's goals in the regular season where due to PPs compared to Hiller. Its no secret the key to beating Giggy is forcing him to move his battalion of gear side to side something usually made a lot easier on the PP. The Wings PP has been anything but infallible so far this series and without getting Rafalski back I don't see it improving. With all that being said, I actually do prefer Hiller, but only marginally and I don't think its going to make or break this series either way.

His timing will be off a bit initially, but he'll also be fresher then any other player on our team. As long as Babs eases him into the line-up and we don't see his first shift coming off of injury on a Duck's surge, I see nothing but upside with getting Draper back.

Risky move cloning Hossa, but I think since we got one roling, we could do the same for the other. Great to see Darth Kader in the line-up, and its somewhat refreshing to know Raffi's getting better even if we'll probably not see him once this series.

Boston's looked almost as unbeatable as San Jose. Also, I agree with 10 Minute Misconduct, Anaheim is the toughest test in the playoffs right now. Winner of this series is easily the cup favorite in my opinion.

No way in hell they'd have him play if he was sick with anything contagious, and Carlyle would be an idiot for resting him when you're only down by 2 goals with the Wings where sitting back in cruise control, they also have an extra day of rest before next game as well so truly an even more pointless practice. I'm more than willing to bet he had a minor injury which hurt a bit for his glorious 1 second of ice time, then decided it wasn't worth the risk of aggravating it further.

I like that their fanbase is so thin we got a Ponda "Ozzie" chant going at the end of game 4.
