Well so much for being wary about the start of the period, Wings look like they're on a PP. ....Frak, now Ducks have a PP.

Despite the optimism flowing through this place right now, I am still a bit wary of the start of the 2nd. The Ducks wear down noticably the more they play, but always look great starting period. Well to be more precise its been more like... Ducks starting 1st period: Unstoppable at first and better than us for the majority of the period. Ducks starting 2nd period: Better than us for the first 5 minutes or so. Ducks starting the 3rd period: A couple decent shifts.

So to sum up the 1st period, despite a bumpy start, Franzen has single-handedly spanked the line that has owned us all series long. Furthermore ZDH is back and looking pretty good, we're winning puck battles along the board and have practically impaled the neutral zone with a huge Wings flag, because we conquered it for most of that period.
