Read that myself and was pretty pissed off. An accidental grazing of the elbow turns into the primary cause of Wiz's injury and a vicious intentional assault. Truly a spectacular night for the Wings.

I have to refute the claim that the Wings played like crap, credit is due to Anaheim's defensive efforts that stifled us tremendously in the 1st and as the game went on the Wings wore them out and played better for the third time in a row now. The Ducks scored two goals and so did the Wings, just one ******* decided to ruin that and taint what was otherwise a suburb game. On the matter of this threads topic, I'd be elated to know some sort of contact number I could find to file some sort of complaint so we can get a competent review system going on, or at the very least vent some to alleviate the anger this game gave me which wasn't what I stayed up till 2 am for.

Its refreshing to see such a Duck fan, many I know are obviously new to the sport, lack tact, and have terrible etiquette. I also knew just about any rational Ducks fan would agree that was a bad bad call. The biggest solace I take from this all, is it didn't exactly cost the Wings a win, but it robbed fans of both teams of seeing some OT where anything could have happened. This so far has easily been the closet and overall best series this playoffs and we all deserve the most genuine outcome available, rather than have one erroneous ref decide the game himself. Edit: Too much drinkey results in me making grammar errors.

I still love the game, but its getting worse then the NBA which I already abandoned. There is obvious favoritism towards underdogs, something made especially evident during the SC finals as the refs do whatever is necessary to draw the series out as long as possible. Last year was a sterling example that I don't honestly think any amount of logic can deter. However, I'll never give up on my favorite team in my faborite sport, I just don't have it in me. Worse comes to worse I'll just boycott the rest of the playoffs assuming the Red Wings get eliminated after this farce of ending to a game. Really I believe by giving up on the NHL as a Wings fan you're really just hurting the Wings whom I know you still support despite the crappy league they play in.

I'm sick of this "If the Wings played 60 minutes" crap. The wings played 60 minutes, just so happens that the Ducks also played 60 minutes and it just so happened that their best beat our best for the first 20 minutes of play before they started wearing down yet again like every other game this series, where our Wings took over. Sucks that the some mickey mouse team can out-play us for 20 minutes and we outplay them for 40 and still lose, but its going to be a long series and we have enough time to work this out. I actually thought the wings dominated more of this game then any of the previous 2, and sans a fluky goal punched in by our own players and the worst reffing flub of the playoffs thus far, we'd have won that game and I expect next game to be even more tilted for us.

Wings probably would have blown the game in 6 OT's leaving us all up until 5 am est, but still that is so god damn unfair. That goal counted and there was nothing worth blowing the whistle on let alone the puck going in before the whistle. Clearly this league is corrupt, as obvious even if this was just one dumbass refs massive boner, you can't deny that last years finals where clearly officiated to draw the series out for the Pittsburgh Crosby's. This is nothing new and there is no Stanley Cup Hangover, just Gary Bettman's great idea of spreading the wealth and raping last years winner so we get a new team to be champion every year rather than the most deserving team. f*** the Ducks, f*** the terrible reffing that once again costs us a game in the final minute of play, and f*** Bettman for his joke of a league that's turning into the same piece of s*** that the NBA has become.

Even the most retardedly biased piece of s*** ducks fan knows the refs just saved their ass again, this is total bulls***.

Really wish I could say I had any faith right now in us winnign this, but I have absolutely zero.
