This is ridiculous, how do you get knocked out of half a series during the time between rounds, its like the Ducks are destined to beat the Wings due to pure luck and circumstances all over again.

I assume you where happy when Marek Svatos' skate hit him in the face after a monster check. To answer the question, it's obviously part of his technique seeing as he's not a big guy so he chucks all of his body weight exploding into those he checks. However, occasionally he mistimes his hits and goes airborn before contact which is definitely something he needs to fix badly.

Yes, clearly the wings who out shot the ducks, out chanced the ducks, out hit the ducks, and dominated the face off circle got lucky and did nothing with skill.

Another upside to this series is we should be getting Draper and Rafalski back soon, Ducks meanwhile have no injured players missing time to expect back. Injecting a fresh top 3 point scoring defensemen and a playoff savvy, selke winning forward should give us a nice boost after this exhausting defeat.
