Wisniewski is very impressive.

Getzlaf line is not the same it once was earlier this game.

Barring decapitation or a delayof game/too many men on ice, I guarantee we will not see another penalty this game.

We;ve had one freaking PP all game, Hossa can do a backwards hand spring for all I care to draw a penalty at this point, its the only reason the ducks are getting calls anyways.

Amusing fact is how much we complain about the Wings not being physical enough, yet tonight we're dominating the hits like none other yet playing terrible and losing. Just goes to show we as a whole are impossible to please

I think the refs complaints are more aimed at the fact that nothing is being called on the Ducks, especially when at least 5 things have occurred worse than Getzlaf's little slash, which was called. The only bogus call on the Wings was the Stuart penalty which resulted in a deflating goal also blurring the lines between how apparent the influence of the Refs actually have been, and how much has just been the Wings being outplayed.

A few people have suggested this in the GDT actually.

Silver lining at the end of the second: Well at least we're only down by one.

How the hell do we still only have 1 PP in this game?

As a big plus, the Ducks have done absolutely nothing since scoring on the PP.

Seems the Ducks come out at the start of each period and put us on our heels, but then tire as the period persists.

Wings putting together a couple of good shifts here and Getzlaf was even out there too.

Ugh, our PK is brutal maybe its better the refs are swallowing their whistle's tonight.

Well that actually looked like a penalty to me, at least it means we may see PP time this period since the refs are playing things sickeningly neutral even when its not favoring us in the least bit.

Dear lord, that was the Wings most dreadful shift of hockey so far this game.

I actually don't think the Wings have been too bad, obvious room for improvement and a great win for us going into the second tied, but aside from Getzlaf being an absolute monster out there, they're been relegated to weak outside shots for the most part. We're beating them in the transition game as sloppy as its been. and more then matching them physically I'm sure our depth will once again wear away at the ducks and soon we'll see the Wings maintain some constant offensive pressure. also, likely would have seen a few more PPs for us had the refs not swallowed their whistles.

I actually somewhat like Pang as well, as for his height I just found this in his wiki page... "Standing only 5-foot-5, Pang was one of the shortest players to play in the NHL. It was often joked that he was the only goalie with a "6 hole," right above his head.?

Too bad we have a classy coach who doesn't whine like a little ***** constantly. We could use a few Therrienesque obstruction complaints, Ducks clearly playing pre-lockout hockey out there.

God, how short is Pang, 5'1"? I swear he shrinks more each year.

Yeah it was psychotic, which is why we'll once again rip the game out their hands in the 3rd if it comes down to it.
