Despite being down by 1, I'm actually really calm watching this game. Wings look genuinely better and with their depth should only improve. Besides Osgood stops that goal more time then not, it won't happen again.

Hurdle the dead, trample the weak, make their eyes spew forth gallons of BLOOD! On a more realistic note, Wings will win 2-1 tonight in a conservative effort. Just hope they don't get off to a slow start. Edit: Font a wee bit too big.

Good to hear for McLellan, though that's some stiff competition and I heavily doubt he'll be winning it. Still a great honor to be nominated especially with an already exceptionally gifted team.

Funny how many people we have complaining about ESPN, yet they're always visiting the site to tell us how disrespectful it is to hockey. Granted this is more of an observation based on a fan poll so I'm not berating this thread or anything. ESPN is practically as basketball station around this time of year.

Wondering how different that game would have been if Chicago stayed out of the box early on. If the Hawks surge in the third was due to actually being able to garner momentum from not having to be on the PK 7 times in 2 periods, this should be a very competitive series.

Between the "Looooou" chants sounding like boo's, and the "Buuu-Liiin" chants almost sounding like bullsh*t, an uninformed viewer might think the Vancouver faithful a terrible bunch.

A part of me was actually wanting to see the Canucks get the next goal just to watch Chicago goon it up and unravel for my own sick and twisted pleasure. Buuut, I'd rather see an actual hockey game more.

Might be way too premature to say this, but I'm starting to think the Hawks where completely overrated and are a terrible playoff team (possibly the Joe Q effect srtiking yet again.) Yeah they beat Calgary, but the way the Flames where playing they'd probably have been swept by any other team in the west.

Hawks looking to pick things up a little here, and yeah waaay too much passing on the PP for Vancouver, three chances for a good high percentage shot wasted trying to be too fancy.
