No blaming the refs on this one for the BJs, this is exactly how our last game should have been called in the last period had the refs not feel sorry for them.

Sounds good to me, especially since it was "cheating on the face off" last game. Excuses are the cattle call of losers far and wide.

Luck is an illusion. When you control the puck and blast 80+ pucks (including blocked and missed shots) at a net in a game you get goals whether they're clean or reflected. Especially considering how often the goalie is screened or the puck is deflected off players intentionally trying to clog the lanes which is what Columbus is doing.

Mason's unraveling before our eyes, he seems noticeably frustrated and that shakiness just caused their team yet another PP goal.

Really am happy with the reffing of this game, not letting the BJ's get away with gooning it up or easing up on them just because they're getting spanked.

Good to see the refs still doing their jobs even though the game is one-sided. I'm truly sickened by the underdog favoritism crap most refs try and pull.

Wings yet again hot after the face off, guess we must have really cheated on them face offs seeing how much better the BJ's are fairing right now. God, Hitchcock is a fat bag of hot air.

While a 5-on-3 is an incredible rarity in playoff OT, the slash had to be called. The prior call was weak, but the again so was the call that gave Philly a PP. However, there really is no reason for calling the "penalty" that sent the game into OT, so with that in mind the Flyer fans have a legitimate grip and were in a sense robbed of a W tonight.

Pardon my French, but what a classless sack of s***. Whatever happened to the days of losing with grace? Rather it seems today these babies clamor for excuses, crying like whiny little ******* all the while. I'd expect behavior like this from fans perhaps, but now professionals (a term I'm using lightly here) are joining the excuse gravy train and its just pathetic.
