Hope Dumont's alright, but I actually laughed at how the fans were booing for the non-call for too many men, talk about bloodthirsty. Dumont looked like a manikin leaving the ice, glad they gave him a break.

Biggest plus of the night is that San Jose lost in regulation so we at least move up a point on them.

Why do the wings always play terrible against bad teams? Good thing we don't play crappy teams like Colorado in the playoffs, we'd be out in 5 games. Give them a few more key injuries and they'd sweep us, Lappy with 9 goals and a hat trick in the final game.

Ozzies a great guy, but he's absolutely hopeless in net this year. I don't think I've seen rebound control as bad as his pretty much ever.

Someone should actually try making a legit change to his wikipedia article, at the very least including his near death experience in Detroit. Articles have been written about it so references wouldn't be that difficult. Afterwards a few notations about his vendetta towards Holmstrom could also be worked in using boxscores and recaps. As long as its kept fairly objective, a point could be proven without being undone.

Would I be wrong in saying if the season ended today Datsyuk would be the odds on favorite for the Hart trophy? Considering both Malkin and that other guy on the team who's name escapes me wouldn't make the playoffs and Datsyuk's D game is parsecs beyond Ovy's I'd think it'd make sense.
