I believe he has dived before, likely in an attempt to take advantage of his "blessed" status, but very sparingly and he does not make it a part of his game. Therefore I don't consider him a diver, though I feel he may be teetering on the edge of being truly classified as such.

Awwww damn, at least the Philly/Pitt series should be very entertaining.

Combo of all three is the obvious answer, in fact it's so conspicuous it shouldn't be included in the vote and serves as a detriment to this polls accuracy. I chose defense though since of the singular aspects of our team it is easily the most paramount. Just look at what happened to us when our D-men fell in the regular season or what happened last year in the playoffs. Furthermore, our offense is sparked by defensive play whether it be our smooth passing D-men or the relentless back-checking of our forwards. Defense also limits our shots against so that the burden carried by our goaltending is severely lessened and in some cases a non-factor as long as soft goals aren't forfeit.

You know I'm all for these two teams wearing themselves out to further benefit our cup run, but Dallas deserved to win that game and was clearly robbed on Morrow's "no goal." I credit San Jose for recollecting themselves and scoring three unanswered goals as well however.

3rd minute, 2nd minute ...knew it'd end early ;_; Good for San Jose though.

We're in dire need of a lengthy marathon-like OT game, every one thus far has been over generally in the first 5 minutes. This one feels like it has incantations of a triple OT classic, or at least the ingredients. ...It'll likely end 3 minutes in.

I've been trying to decipher whether it is the San Jose offense that's been floundering, or the Dallas defense that has shined, and I'm strgonly leaning towards the later.

Aside from holding Dallas down defensively on the shot toals, San Jose looks terrible. Dallas up 1-0, this series won't last long.

The only actual argument one could even muster for tonight's beat down being more severe then our 7-0 drubbing was if you looked at the sweep as a whole, the 8-2 just being an exclamation mark. You could possibly argue the absurdity of the calls that the Avs scored their 2 goals on as well, though I still don't think that pushes it over the previous 7-0 against Roy.

7-0 Was against Roy, enough said.

I was actually kind of hoping Sakic would score a goal in the closing seconds of the game personally. I get a feeling he'll be back though.

What would they have to gain from gooning it up? Sending a message for next years regular season?
