Far superior to Melrose's reasoning and if I were to conjure up reasons as to why Colorado would win I agree with most of Pang's suggestions, though I think despite by name recognition the Avs having a better top 6, ours is achieving more ot their potential and we have better 3rd/4th line contribution as well. I also think it's unfair to call Jose more consistent than Osgood as Ozzie's only played two full games in which he's been as consistent as Jose, granted he didn't have to overwork since we dominated the shot totals so badly against Nashville.

I was expecting more from the Ass Launch faithful. I can't blame them though, even with the Bronco's having a bad season (the single biggest contributor to their fan base) they did miss the playoffs last year. I am Sure most fans tuning into this series will be watching their first bit of hockey since. It is pretty funny though to see how many of them still think the Avs are an Elite Franchise in the NHL.

This only means we'll get to run the Pain Train through Colorado! Stuart can take some time off to heal his broken finger, then he'll return to pick up the shattered remains of what is left of the Avs after being thrown under the Pain Train! Though in all seriousness who wants to bet if Lilja gets the nod to fill in he'll play his best hockey of the playoffs knowing he needs to earn a spot when Stuart returns.

Noticed that myself just yesterday, I'm willing to bet it should be a somewhat frequent occurrence. 3 Seeds are commonly the product of winning a weak division and are often have lower point totals than teams 4-5 seed. Furthermore, with the parity we have today picking an underdog in a 4-5 match up is like flipping a coin.
