Not a Hasek hater at all but Osgood thoroughly outplayed him and I believe earned the shot. If he plays again it's because Osgood bombed big time, and frankly if that happens our playoffs are done, so yes I believe Hasek has played his last game as a Red Wing.

Babcock needs to whine and cry more about the reffing, maybe that'll help us out more.

BTW why are people whining about Hasek giving up that second goal? it bounced off of Kronwall's ass, total fluke goal. Only way he could have stopped that would be by Giguering it with massive pads and a larger frame.

Seems the refs only swallow the whistles when we need it or when our special teams aren't awful. Also seems to only ever happen in the third period, in which case maybe burning your energy early like Nashville has a point, considering you actually get the calls i those periods.

Ah that's the best line in hockey that I remember, ona side note they should ban that stupid whistle or at least limit it some, it's actually kind of bothering me, it's not like it's a pleasant noise or anything.

As mentioned in last GDT, I think the Tootoo whistle is undoubtedly the stupidest thing in the NHL. It is just so corny I actually get embarrassed knowing people cheer that cartoonish spectacle.

Interestingly enough I was taping tonights game since it was my original intention ot tape the whole game and watch it later but I got home sooner than expected and we wee up 2-0 at the time. However, every time I seem to tape a game I end up erasing it because it never goes the way I wish, this has literally happened 100%, 6 out of 6 times. I'm going to trash tonights tape in tribute of washing ourselves of this terrible game. Wings in 5.

One thing that confuses me is why did we switch up the lines? We played great the previous two games, then Babcock (great coach, not blaming him necessarily) changes crap for no reason and at least in my opinion is was a huge failure.

Well overall terrible effort by the Wings, Nashville played well enough to beat us. As a whole Nashville has nothing over us and we'll still win in five. They got lucky tonight, they won't on Wednesday and then the series is over at home for us.

*sigh* I have zero hope of us winning this one, it just wasn't in the cards, refs swallow the whisltes and it goes ot s*** for us each time.

My god that's three "terrible, you should be fired for not noticing that" no calls for the Preds so far, yeah they're definitely trying to rig the series for the Wings!

Christ was that annoying whistle broken? I swear it went off for 20 seconds in a row, still think that's the single dumbest thing in the NHL.
